Brenda F. Burnett

Brenda F. Burnett

Brenda F. Burnett received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi in 1996.  After earning her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 2001, she worked for the boutique law firm of Thompson & Thompson in Chicago, IL.

During the real estate boom of the early millennium years, Brenda handled over 250 closings per year.  She is proficient in all aspects of real estate transactions in the Greater Chicago Area (Cook and collar counties), as well as the “south of 80” style closings too.

Brenda’s philosophy of practice, inspired by her mentor Cherie Thompson, is that she is thankful for all transactions, no matter if difficult or smooth, because in each her ability to advise her client is the reward.

Brenda has enjoyed advocating for her clients in the areas of Family Law and Landlord/Tenant disputes.

For people interested in starting their own business with either passive (investing such as rental property) or active (such as retail store) income, Brenda will assist you in forming the proper entity and annual upkeep of records.

Brenda and her husband moved to Watseka, in 2007.  Her family owns a rail service company in Iroquois, Illinois.  She is thankful to have the opportunity to serve her local community giving the same personal care that she has her “city” clients for over 16 years.
